Mindfulness Meditation
This will be an opportunity to get some guidance and then shared experience of mindfulness meditation for 20 minutes. The meditation Amy teaches and guides is an approach has the goal to stabilize the mind through using the breath as a focal point. It creates the opportunity for us to experience our mind as it is – full of thoughts – and grow our ability to calmly abide with our thoughts… as they are. This in turn frees us to respond to life, rather than react.
People are welcome to come for just the 20 minutes of meditation, but we will plan on another 20-30 minutes for discussion and questions. Here are the instructions for getting to the meeting:
