Candle Dipping
As we head toward the darkest time of the year, I am drawn to create meaningful ways we can connect and celebrate the wonder of light in the darkness. In my family, we have created a tradition that has become an anchor for me through the cold and dark. We hand dip beeswax candles to burn during our holiday celebrations and throughout the winter months. I find great joy in creating a reverent, warm, and peaceful environment where we can do this task of creating candles. I am especially drawn to share the experience with others. This year, I am going to set up candle dipping at Little Tree and am offering the opportunity of this experience to the community on Wednesday, December 19th. Drop by Little Tree sometime between:
2-4pm for adults and families with children. Register here.
6-9pm for adults. Register here.
I will also have some herbal teas and oils available for purchase. We can mix up a personalized Abyhanga Oil (essential oil in organic sesame oil) or tea blend for you or for gift giving. I am always happy to put your purchase in a container you bring with you and extend a 10% savings.
Please register so I know how many people to expect.
Upcoming Offerings
4 Week Gut Healing
An important starting point for wellness is health in the gastrointestinal (GI) system. From mouth to rectum, the GI system plays an important role in digestion, assimilation and elimination. If it is not functioning well, it can impact our overall wellbeing and our efforts at good nutrition can be diminished. Problems in the gut can be the root cause of chronic health problems. In this workshop you will be supported through a 4 week healing.
We will begin with elimination of common foods that cause inflammation and sensitivities and then incorporate herbs and supplements that support restoring and repairing the gut. We will meet once per week for 90 minutes. You will be given specific information, verbally and in written form to support your process. Often elimination diets can feel overwhelming when undertaken alone. In this experience you will be supported throughout the process.
- January 27, February 3, 10 and 17 from 3-4:30pm
- Cost: $120 – this does not include herbs and supplements. You will be provided a list of recommendations that you can purchase at Little Tree or on your own.
